I’m planning a ride to Crown King the back way from Lake Pleasant Saturday 27th. It’s an all day adventure. We will meet up in the morning at 8:00am ride to Crown King and eat lunch at the restaurant on the hill “it’s really good”. Then check out the town and ride back getting to the parking area between 5 to 6.00 pm. Lots of good fellowship and fun. I will post a map to the parking area and more info soon. Start planning it’s a great ride.
Who’s in?

Travel north from Phoenix on Interstate 17 and exit on Carefree Highway (Exit 223) and head west. The road becomes State Route 74, also known as Lake Pleasant Road. Travel west for about 10 miles and turn north on Castle Hot Springs Road. This is the road to the lake entrance. Continue for about 5 miles you will come to the end of the road, turn to the left. Follow the dirt road about 2.5 miles then turn right onto Cow Creek Road, drive for about 1 mile there will be a big parking area on your right. I will be there at 7:30 am. I will be driving an older white van pulling an enclosed trailer. I would like to start our ride by 8:00am. Be sure to bring plenty of gas. Gas is available in Crown King but the last time I was up there it was 3.99 a gallon. We will eat lunch in Crown King. Be prepared for a full day of fun and fellowship…. Please let me know if you’re going… I’m posting a map to the parking area..
Thanks
Don

I was just informed that "we" are attending my nephews birthday party on Saturday
Maybe my gift to him this year should be a ride to Crown King on Saturday?
Sorry to miss the fun.
John
