Hello to all, especially to my brothers and sisters in Christ. My name is Norm Porst and I live in Escondido, CA (North San Diego County). I found your web site while at the ASA site buying my annual Glamis permit. We have been going to Glamis for over 25 years with a group of Believers mostly from Bethel Bapist Church, Escondido. Being a Believer is not a requirement to join our group, any and all are welcome. But we make no secret that we are faith based. We ride hard and pray harder. While my wife and I go with other non-Christain groups I can honestly say that our best weekends, regardless of weather or crowds, are the ones with our family in Christ. Our group ranges from six to fifty in number, mostly families.
Some like my wife (53) and I (54) are empty nesters, while others have smaller kids. The first ride of the day, at daybreak, is the wild ride. Not all are welcome for this one, it's fast, long, toughest dunes, etc. This gives those with family duties time to air it out so they can throttle down for some family rides. My wife and I just purchased five acres, twenty four miles west of Tucson. I plan to build our new home in two years. We have already found a home church, Serenity Baptist Church on Ajo Highway.
I will be watching this site to hopefully see some Glamis trips from your area with thoughts of joining and meeting new friends. God Bless and thanks for the web site.

Welcome to our group.. I to am looking forward to riding and fellowshipping with our brothers and sisters in Christ. We just started this group last weekend and membership is growing fast. I look forward to meeting and riding with you in the near future..
