Located in the ponderosa pine type at an elevation of 5,700 feet along Highway 89, this campground is within an easy drive from the city of Prescott and is open from May 1 to October 31 each year. Eleven sites remain open year round. The campsites are generally large enough to accommodate most recreational vehicles (not exceeding 40 feet in length), and the paved road system to and throughout the campground makes for easy access to each camping site. Drinking water is available, trash collection is provided, utility hookups are not. There is a campground host to assist visitors. There is an $10 a night fee for each site. This campground does not have any Recreational Vehicle hookups, dumpstations or shower facilities.
Access: From Prescott, turn south onto Montezuma Street from Gurley Street. Stay on Montezuma Street for 3 miles to Forest Road 62. Montezuma Street. becomes U.S. Highway 89. Turn left onto FR 62, the campground entrance is just off the highway on your left.
For access from downtown

Travel time: 10 min. from Prescott
